Madison East
UW students enrolled in MAAX also participate in a service-learning partnership with Madison East High School .
Service learning visits occur approximately in two months, and students meet in permanent "teams" of 5-6 students.
These "U+ME" Teams, composed jointly of Madison East and UW-Madison students, pursue issues, problems, and topics of each team's choosing.
Each team is responsible for producing a final project, for presentation at semester's end.
